Strange Pain Posted: 01-15-07 17:45pm
I am writing for my boyfriend. For almost
a year now he has been bothered by a
strange pain in the lower left side of his
pubic region, above the testicles. He
tells me that it feels like some body
pushing down really hard from within, and
almost compares it to the menstural cramps
that I get. He went to a doctor I think
it was june of last year. One doctor said
that it was a hernea and another doctor
said that it was a prostate infection. He
was given a month's worth of medication
for the "prostate infection" and took all
of it correctly. Still, the pain
presists. It comes and goes, not as often
as usual. He tells me that it will throb
in the afflicted region, all the way down
to his knee, and sometimes I see him
almost limping from it. He was 25 at the
time, 26 years old now. He is a tad
over-weight, but has a job unloading
trucks that keeps him a generally good
shape. I wonder if this could be a
hernea, as it tends to hurt more with
physical exeration.
Do any of you guys know what this could
be? Have you ever had something similiar?
I hate to see him hurting, and would like
to know if this could be something more
serious. Any answers or suggestions would
greatly help.
Thanks!

Above the testicles? Like the chord that
the testicles hang from?

I Feel Something Similar. Posted: 01-17-07 14:55pm
Lately I have been feeling something
similar. Just this past saturday I was
lifting weights on a incline bench press,
something fairly heavy and I noticed that
my scrotum area started feeling really
heavy and real uncomfortable afterwards.
Its a nasty feeling I am still feeling
inside my testicle region/anal. It also
radiates to my abdomen making me feel
nauseated. I really cant pin point the
area though where my discomfort is coming
from. I was gonna go see my doctor, but I
had this problem in the past when I was
working out at the gym and it lasted for 3
weeks. That time I went to see the doctor
and they said it was nothing and just
prescibed me some pain medz. With my
discomfort, I checked everywhere in that
area such as my groin, balls, anal area
and theres nothing unusual such as any
bulges, lumps, or anything protruding out
of the ordinary. I even had my girlfriend
do a search for me as well for anything
unusual. Nothing, so I believe its in the
inside some where in that area. Its very
frustrating because I feel like its having
a effect when I try to urinate. With your
boyfriend, 1 year thats a long time. I
hope he evenaully finds out what is
causing that awful discomfort and gets
better. Any ideas what could our problem
be, for whoever takes a look at this
page??? Holla

I have a varicocele, which is a varicose
vein of the testicle. It can cause
similar pains, and I did have nausea at
times it really bothered me. I can't say
that is the only thing that causes nausea
as being kicked in the balls can also
cause nausea...So perhaps nausea and
testicle pain are common.
Go to a doctor and find out, if he says
it's nothing, ask him what this "nothing"
is, what it could be. If still nothing,
find a new doctor.
If it's a varicocele find one of my
previous posts on it. Click my name and
look at my past posts. One was started by
shadowless and another has a title about
varicocele.
