Numb From Sternum to Toes!!!! Posted: 01-15-07 16:57pm
The week before halloween 2006 I woke up
and my feet and lower legs felt like they
were asleep (tingling and kind of numb).
Within a matter of 2 weeks the feeling had
moved up to just below the breast bone.
My drs were quick to say that it was
diabetic neuropathy. I think they are
full of it. Reason being is that I
literally woke up one morning with this
feeling and it was equally the same on the
right as it was on the left side and it
moved up equally. From everything that I
have read and that's been a lot, that
isn't typical of neuropathy. Just
recently I have had a new feeling one of
major discomfort. A squeezing/tight
feeling around the upper abdomin. My dr
sent me for an ultrasound of the gall
bladder plus a stress test, both test came
back fine. Where do I go from here. If
anyone who reads this has any suggestions
please respond. i'm 30 yrs old and dont
want to live the rest of my life like
this. It is miserable
