I seem to be getting the hiccups lately and I was wondering what causes hiccups. I know what a hiccup is, but not what causes it. Anyone?

Weird Hiccups
I get weird hiccups fairly frequently - they started maybe 6 months or so. I have 1-2 hiccups and thats it, then anywhere from 20 minutes to several hours later i'll have 1-2 more hiccups. Its really weird and kinda annoying. Don't know what is causing me to do that.
