i am in my tenth week and
have lost 5 lbs (2 kg) in the past month.
I don't have morning sickness, but I do
have aversion to meat (i can handle
poultry at times) and most fish (need to
stock up on canned salmon). I eat lots
of fresh fruit and vegetables, thin toasts
and crackers, and try to get fiber through
cereal, though too much milk bothers me.
I saw my ob-gyn today and she didn't seem
too concerned with my weight loss. She
did say my appetite should pick up in the
fourth month. Should I be worried?
I am fairly thin, I am small boned and
have never weighed more than 115

hi - I wouldn't worry much yet if your ob
doesn't seem to concerned, but talk to her
about this if it continues!
And do be careful about fish..........I
have 2 books that say the same thing - you
should only eat up to one 6oz can of fish
per week. So all those salmon cans you
want to buy, you should only eat one a
week!!!!!!!!! And try to eat minimal or
none of shell fish - guess they are not
that good either for pregnant women!
Congrats, and I hope you feel better soon!
