Q: Lump under breast
asked by: DoctorQuestion on January 13th, 2007
Yesterday I noticed a pea size (literally like a tiny ball) in my right breast. It seems right under the skin so I can pinch my skin and it feels very hard and round. I'm 24 years old and I'm a little scared. Can it be harmless?

Every time you suspect something wrong with the breast, you can report your findings to your primary health doctor. After a physical examination, your GP will send you to a specialist for further examinations (ultrasound scan, mammography, fine needle punition), if necessary.
