I'm trying to avoid having the period when i'm on vacation next month. Is there any harm to starting a new pack after only 5 days of the inactive pills?? Please help!

You can do that!

The only problem that could happen is that you may not infact skip your period at all, and you could have everyday spotting for a few weeks.
