Q: Hurts to Breath, Touch And Move...

New User, Becoming EHEALTHy
Hi I am only 20 years old and have had a lot of bladder infections and kidney infections... I think it might be caused by my autoimmune disease which my cells are attacking eachother which causes me to be more prone to sickness and such and also is rheumatoid arthritis... But a few weeks ago I had an accident and fell on my back really hard... My back hurt for a while and felt better for about a week or so... Now today I woke up and my lower back just above my hips on the right side started hurting really bad, aching, sharp pains, it kind hurts to breathe and move and it is sensitive to touch. What could this be? Are my kidneys damaged or could it be something else... I can't afford to go to the hospital until I get my insurance which won't be until the middle of next month or so... Thanks so much...

Sweetie, if you are worried that you may have damaged internal organs, like your kidneys, you need to see a doctor .A.S.A.P! If not treated quickly, some injuries to the body can be very fatal! Many hospitals have financial assistance programs for non- and under-insured patients. They can help you pay for your visit. But please see a doctor! If it's nothing, then great. But if it is some kind of internal injury, treatment would be most effective sooner rather than later. Good luck, and I hope all turns out well!

Please get yourself to the er asap. Whether you have insurance or not, tell them your situation and they will work out a payment plan. You bruised something and you need to get taken care of immediately. Don't wait
