Stumbled upon this site and I figured
someone here might be able to give me some
insight on a small question. If ya can,
i'd appreciate it!
Basically, im just curious what happens to
an acne nodule if ya dont pop it or it
never breaks on its own. I dont get
nodules or cysts too often but when I do,
they seem to fade and deflate after a week
or so. A mark may remain but its never
too bad. Lately though, I got this one
nodule on my cheek near my nose and it
doesnt seem to be going anywhere. When it
first came, it was red and did hurt a lil.
But its been about eight days now since I
noticed it and the bump is still there.
It no longer hurts if I touch it and its a
lot less red but the lump remains just the
same. I've been dabbing benzoyl peroxide
on it a few times a day for the past week
and I guess i'll continue to do so for
now.
Im just curious if there is anything else
I could do? Maybe im being impatient but
I havent seen it change in size since it
arrived one morning. Damn stubborn thing
and I kinda am gathering information just
incase this happens again. Do nodules
naturally heal this way and remain a pesky
lump on the skin? Ya think ice may help
deflate it?
