I would like to know if you dont have your period for about two years can you still become pregnant your answer is important I have a bet going on

Hi, It is assumed by the medical profession that if you are over 50 and have been period free for a full 12 months then you do not have to use contraceptives any longer - I must confess, I waited until 24 months until I threw out the contraceptives! As it is a few months since you posted this note, I would be interested to hear if all is well or the patter of little feet are iminent!!!
