Can a person become hiv+, live with it, and not ever get to the point of having aids?

Yes, if you start haart soon enough. Keeping your cd4 level higher than 200 to prevent an oi. A cd4 level <200 with an oi. Puts one in the classification of having aids per the cdc's guidelines.

Yes! Some people never progress to AIDS. With medication HIV positive people can lead a long and for the most part good life! Smile
