If you are still in school, you should see
if your school offers counseling, I am
going to a 2 year college, and they have
counselors right on campus, and it doesnt
cost anything. If not then you should
definately tell your mother, because if
you can't afford to get help, she could
help you. I'm sure she is not going to
ignore your problem and not get you help.
The first step to recovery is realizing
that you have a problem. The second step
is telling someone, and then getting help,
but the hardest part is that when you
actually get help, you have to do what you
are told, you have to follow through with
the plan. One of my best friends is
suffering from bulimia, and it kills me to
see her. Because even though she denies
still purging, I know she is, and she is
embarassed to tell me that she started
again, because she knows I will be mad.
She was doing so well for the longest
time, she stopped purging she was eating
healthy, then all of a sudden she got
really depressed and she is starting all
over again, it's a vicious cycle. And
what scares me the most is that, this
disease might get her first before she
ever fully recovers. I hope you realize
that what you are putting yourself
through, it's not a joke, it's fatal. The
sooner you get help, the more of a chance
you have in beating this disease, before
it beats you!!!!!!! Please think about
this, and I wish you the best of luck!!!!!
