I hurt myself at work today, a metal beam cut my face from my chin to an inch below my right eye. I'm thankful to still have the eye, but I don't want a hideous scar for the rest of my life. I went to a clinic immediately and the doctor did a good job stitching me. Right now everything is exposed, no bandages on. I applied polysporin when I came home all over the affected area. I would appreciate any advice on what I can do over the next several days to minimize scarring.
