They will. They just make it out too look manditory.

I, personally, don't want some kid who didn't get the .T.B vaccine sitting next to my child. Sorry.

i hated getting that one done I had it 3 years ago I think and it hurt so much, my mum wanted me to have it when I was a baby so they were all done already but they don't do it unless they're at risk form contracting it, I wish I had it done earlier I have never known a vaccination to hurt so much as that one

that's pretty much where .I'm at too. I don't think it's okay to have someone else's child who might have something sitting next to my child, or infecting other people's children who didn't receive the vaccine either. The whole "don't vaccinate" thing seems to be a trend now, and more children aren't getting them. I'm too paranoid for my own good I guess, but I keep picturing these horrible diseases making a huge come-back because so many little kids aren't being protected from them now.

*sigh* but I don't want to argue. I just want my little girl to be healthy. I love all you girls and respect your wishes and opinions.

it would scare me to think that when my child goes to school there may be a child with something like that but atleast I will have the reassurance of knowing he/she has been vaccinated. Each to their own but mine with be vaccinated unless there is major proof it could be doing them more harm than good

If your child is vaccinated then why do you care?

And i'm sorry but I think a chance of death is a good reason not to vaccinate. Chuy has vaccines but I don't bash people for not getting them. My nephews had severe respiratory effects from them.... But I guess they should have continued to get them too, huh? Then none of you would have to worry about someone who didn't have the tb shot sitting next to your vaccinated child. Rolling Eyes dead children don't sit in class. But better dead than unvaccinated, right?

Are you worried about it because you think the vaccines don't work? If that's the case then why get them?

I dunno, I guess I just have a soft heart. I have a pretty wild imagination and I can just see my little .Alyvia with her blonde pigtails sitting in a half-empty classroom doing her schoolwork while the other half is home ill Shocked

.I mean, yeah my daughter will probably be safe, woohoo. But I feel bad for the other little ones I guess Neutral which isn't my place, I know, and .I'm not knocking their parents. But still, it's what I think about. And it's why I care. I shouldn't, right? Neutral *sigh*

i didn't think .R.S.V was the flu. Did they imply .Oni wouldn't get .R.S.V if she had the flu shot?

No, it isn't the same. Instead of getting the flu out of that initial "cold", she got .R.S.V....

Forgive me guys. I get really pissy about this. I'm just not even going to look at this post again because it's pissing me off. Vaccinate or don't. Whatever, it's an individual choice. If your child is vaccinated that should be good enough in your eyes. You've done your duty and protected your children.

Some shot the benfits outweigh the risks but the chicken pox vaccine isnt guranteed, I have an honest dr who literally tell what is good or not good.

There were no studies done on chicken pox vaccine that guranteed you would not get it after 18 which can be more fatal, better off getting the wild virus.

As for meningitis, measles etc I feel that they are necessary cause they can be fatal.

No vaccine is guaranteed. Actually, there isnt even solid proof that vaccines are effective. To me, the risk is all in vaccinating.

And to people that are saying you want to prevent your child from getting these diseases, well please enlighten me, where in the hell is your child going to catch polio?

And like someone said, if you so strongly believe in these vaccs and your child is vaccianted then why are you concerened with certain children not being vacccinated?

But im with kay, this is pissing me off and I dont even want to look at it anymore.

I care because I care. I explained that a couple of posts ago. But like .Sarah, .I'm done. I didn't want to argue, and my feelings are extremely hurt that my words were taken out of context. There was never any need to get defensive towards me, because I don't blame other parents for their choices on this.

Yeah. I'm done.

Well I cant do anything for my step daughter. They let her live in a dump with cat poop and trash piled up the walls. They dont feed her meals. Make her put something in the micowave to eat. She is about to turn 12 and wears the same size as my 7 year old. So I dont think they would listen if I said anything about shots. Plus I been told its not my business. Ok sorry for running my mouth

I think this entire thread was taken too personally.

The facts are the facts, people choose to parent their children the best way they know how. Everyone has a different way of parenting their children. We all do it a little differently.

If I choose to vaccinate my children, that doesn't mean I am against you making a choice to not vaccinate your children. I actually have a lot of understanding about vaccines and why people choose not to do it. Either way, parenting is a personal choice.

Get thickers skins. This is only the begining of a very long and very trying parenting journey. Just wait until these babies are teenagers and they are having babies.

The real fun has only just begun. Wink

it's my understanding that .R.S.V can come from the common cold or the flu or a simple little cough.

ya just like asthma. Trey's asthma always get triggered as soon as he has a lil cold. It sucks. I hope he grows out of it. But he's gotten a lot better with his pumps. I think cause we give spiderman a puff first. Lol
