Um ive never heard of it called the abortion pill. It's called the morning after pill and I dont think that would be considered abortion. It can be used up to 72 hours after having intercourse.

Okay..I'm not sure what pill you are referring to but I am sure there are at least two pills you could be talking about. The first one is the morning after pill. This pill basically hightens chemicals in your body that give you muscle contractions when giving birth..Oxytosin I believe. The high oxytosin levels tell your body to "give birth" and do not let the already fertilized baby implant itself in your body to grow. Instead your body will expell your baby and you will never know you were even pregnant. I only know the basics about both of the pills but am rather sure that both of them also have many consiquences. Higher chemical levels in your body can do all sorts of wierd things and I personally don't think it would be worth the risk of messing your body up and not knowing you had a child..But that's my opinion. I don't want to make people mad lol.
The other pill that you could be talking about is the ru-487 pill. This pill is very new to the market and most suppliers won't tell you about the consiquences because they want people to buy it. (this also goes for all abortion methods...As far as I know. It is a very lucritive business and they want to make a living too. I would strongly suggest that you do research before you decide to use an abortion pill or something. No one wants to hurt themselves...)anyway, this pill is a series of 3(?) pills that you take w/in a few week period. The first pill does the same as the pill I mentioned before yet doesn't complete the abortion. It only makes sure the baby will not implant to the wall. The second pill will burn the embryo and give it harmful chemicals. The third pill will expell the baby. I am not completely sure this imformation is completely right because I don't know everything about it. I do however know that this pill is very new (maybe w/in the past 2 years) and many of the risks are not yet known. I would strongly suggest doing research on your own (avoiding where you can buy it) to get a few answers first.
I hope this clearified a few things for you but I urge you to do research on you own. Using an abortion pill causes large risks (or any abbortion). You should be aware of them before you accedentally hurt yourself. I also want to remind you that this is my opinon of abortion pills and the such and I am only stating my personal belief. The pill you are speaking of is the ru487 pill. It is new to united states, but not in other countries. Its been around for at least 10-15 years in other places. What the pill does, is abort the pregnancy. There is no surgery, there is not doctor, its in your own home. You go to the clinic, they will then test you for diseases first. Then they will check you to make sure you are pregnant and how far along you are. You can be up to 3 months pregant and get an abortion. After this, they will give you two pills in the office. You must wait 24 hours before taking the next/last pill. You will probably feel sick. They say to take it before bed the following day, and wear a heavy pad and take a strong dose of cramping pills. During the night you will bleed heavily, with in 8 hours it will be removed from your body. If you use the restroom it can just flush.
This sounds very robotic and cold, but im just telling your the process of the pill. The next day you will probably feel really good, but for the next 2 weeks you will have cramping and bleeding which is normal. Its like having your period, so you take pills and only wear pads. Never wear tampons.

The pill you're talking about is ru-487. The process takes a few days to completely "abort" the baby. Alot of clinics have it available. I used it once and I will never ever do it again. It cost 500.00, and it involved 2 doct. Visits. First you go and they do a sonogram,(you;re not supposed to do do this if you're more than 7wks pregnant) then the nurse will give you a pill to take orally while there. Then you get 4 more smaller pills to take home with you along with a thing to vaninally insert them 48hrs later I believe it was....After that part there is (what they said would be light..Although they did give me vicodin for pain) cramping and then light bleeding within a few hours usually...They say that the whole process shouldnt be too painful . But my cramping was unbearable...Im talking the most painful thing I ever experienced. I took as many pain pills as I had and could find without possibly overdosing,...They say you may experience nausea and/or vomiting along with it....I had that too, and due to the pain I could bareky make it to the bathroom to throw up,which by the way only made it way more painful because of the tightening of stomach muscles I suppose...I couldnt speak or move I was in so much pain with cold sweats and all....They say that if it gets bad that when you're about to 'release' the "fetus"..Total for myself the pain and sickness lasted about 3 hours. Then I was fine, a little weak feeling though. I personally continued to bleed for apx. A month.....Anyway-just an overview for anyone considering this...I dont reccomend the abortion pill ,although I do know people who say it wasnt bad at all for them.....

Please dont anyone take this personally!!!! I think abortions are wrong ....Any way to get rid of a baby is sad! So please anyone else looking for information on abortions and ways around a kid. Please,please,please be more responsible in the first place! If we are gonna live as adults we have to act responsible as adults!

actually, I think ya'll are refurring to the ru-486 pill, not 487......And the effects can be deadly....One lady in sweden recenlty died bc of loss of blood due to the effects of ru-486. And this isn't just one pill......It's a week process going back and forth to the clinic and ingesting these pills.
