tazzy, are you in the .U.S.? I'm pretty sure weight watchers is offering free registration right now. You could always just go check it out and see if it's for you. I really do highly recommend it!

They said that there is a $39. Charge for something .. Someone told me if I could just get the book "something about a point book" and just follow that I will loose weight

i do it at home by myself. All you really need is the points slider, which you'd probably get for free is you went in for the free registration. Even if you have to pay the $10 for one meeting or whatever it is, it's worth it just to get the slider. There is no special food, with weight watchers you eat whatever you want and everything has a point value based on fat, calories and fiber and you get a daily points range. As long as you stay within your daily range you'll lose weight. It really doesn't get any easier.
There's also a website (dwlz.Com) that has the points value for every food imaginable and even includes meals at restaurants (the list is absurdly huge). Applebee's even has a weight watchers menu with the points listed right there.

Yeah thats what my sister did (keep going on about my sister lol)
i dont know whether its the same over there but she went to the first meeting got the book and stuff and never went back and just followed the points book at home. Then she didnt have to pay for any other meetings. Like I said it worked for her!
