Hi, I had a small open cut on my finger that I had got about 20 minutes earlier and fingered a woman with it for about 1 minute. Two days laters I had a sore throat and felt very tired along with a weird rash\irritation on my tongue. The woman swore to me shes clean and will get tested in about a month from now. But right now I cant sleep and im having stomach problems because of all the anxiety. If infected with hiv can the symptoms occur has fast as 2 days later? And what are the chances of me contracting hiv with the small open cut on my finger while fingering her supposing shes hiv positive. Someone please respond, I cant sleep and im a nervous wreck. Thank you so much.

You didn't have a risk with a small cut on your finger and the symptoms that you are having came on to quick to be related to hiv. If you are concerned about you symptoms, see your doctor.

.An open wound, no matter what the size, does allow for the transfer of bodily fluid from her to you. .Your symptoms are way too soon to be brought on by hiv. .If you are worried have her test now.

First off you can contract hiv through any cut if it comes in contact with any other bodily fluids.....But you cant however have symptoms that quikly....It usually takes up to six months for it to even show up on a blood test if you have it and at that time you still most likley wouldn't have any symptoms.....As for the other stuff sounds like you might a have a case of the "kissing disease" aka "mono" no big deal...But you will need to go the doctor to get tested out just incase it is something more severe

Thank You
Thank you all so much for your time and answers. It makes me feel alot better that two days would be too soon for any symptoms. She wants to get tested a month from now in case I had hiv so it would show up on her test. I will try to convince her to go now because I cant live like this. Thank you all so much again.

Iridescent_opal, hollymccormick show me anywhere in any scientific article that shows documentation that there has been anyone infected in that manner. Before you look to hard and long the answer is there has never been an infection caused by small cuts and nicks or hangnails.

HIV transmission through cuts and wounds
if u were bleeding and the woman have chances of an HIV infection than there are chances that you might have contracted the virus... in this condition you have to get urself tested.
