I dont think its too late to get circimsized. Talk to you doctor about it and let him/her know your discomfort. Its common for a guy to have the extra skin and usually is not a big problem. Good luck!

I am not a doctor, but what you are describing is probably normal. The extra skin is there to protect the head. My ex-boyfriend was not circumsized, and his foreskin only partially moved away from the head. Just remember, as all females breasts are not the same, all men's penises are not the same either. If it is not causing you any discomfort or affecting your health, then I wouldn't worry about it. If you are concerned, check with your doctor.

Well, it depends on how old you are. I am also uncircumsized, and I used to have the problem before puberty, but not anymore.

By the way, it's not as uncommon as you'd think.

Well, its been a while and the problem only seems to have gotten worse....I dont think this is something thats going to go away on its own..What should I do?

Since it is bothering you I would suggest circumcision. It is cleaner and it would probably make you feel more comfortable. They can perform a circumcision at any age.

Sounds to me like your foreskin is just a little tight there is no need to get a circumcision you can stretch it and gradually you should be able to pull it back all the way

there are also creams that can help and there are surgeries not as serious as circumcision

do a search online for foreskin stretching im sure you will find something

Yes, you do not have to get a circumcision. However, if you are planning on getting it operated on anyway, and if you are interested in circumcision then you may as well go for it. But that is up to you, but whatever you decide I think you should see a doc soon since it is bothering you. Good luck.

i know that this topic is really really really old but if you are still out there, but this time you're prolly already too, circumsized. But if you're still out there and you haven't got cut yet, one practical would be is to just work on pulling back the skin until like it comes back all the way. I remember like when I was 6 I had to do it every day, just something pch well my cottage parents taught me while I was there but yeah there's something you could do if you know, you havent got cut, sorry everyone for this topic being brought back from like 2003 but yeah.

this is some very bad advice... Not cool. It's interesting how much misinformation is out there. I'm circumsized, but I know very well with it comes higher health risks, decreased sexual stimulation, problems with chaffing, rashes, bumps forming on the head, and itchy irritations, not to mention at his age a circumcision would be extremely painful for the following weeks.

Take a loko at the men's sexual health forum and you'll see that 95% of the men who are complaining with penis problems, bumps, rashes, pains, inability to get aroused, etc. Are circumsized.

The foreskin is there to protect the penis from all these things. A foreskin bacterial infection is extremely rare and no more dangerous than a woman not getting circumsized either.

DO girls care about uncercumsized men cause i am and im kinda worried.

I advice you to visit your doctor,uncircumcised penis is not clean,its possible to carry infection to your partner.

My son is not circumsiced,his penis is spick and span!....As long as a man cleans his penis regularly and properly it will be clean.I'm sure there is some real dirty circumsised penises out there!

Telling someone to cut off part of their penis is bad advice in my opinion.
Next time you have a yeast infection,go cut off your vaginal lips, cause they may be dirty....and spread disease sheeeesh!

Circumsised or UN curcumsized....no difference....jus one of them wear a turtle neck...that's all.

All this is rubbish.. It's been proven that an uncircumsised penis is NOT more likely to be dirty or carry an infection than an un-circumsised penis.. It should only be done for religion or personal belief etc.. Don't listen to sum1 about it when they tell you that you're dirty b'coz you're uncircumsised

It is not bad advice....it can be very beneficial to be circumcised. And most men do not have an issue with chaffing, bumps, rashes and pains. Alot of the pains they are complaning about are in the testicles, etc. not the head of the penis itself! Take a look. Bumps and rashes, etc are generally occuring because of shaving the pubic area and/or risky sexual decisions.

Some women do care about whether or not it is circumsized or not. I mean if someone really loves you it should't matter. I personally think it is cleaner (my personal opinion) and prefer a circumsized, but would never not have a relationship with someone because they were uncircumsized.....its all going to depend on the person. I do have to say it is more common to be cut now a days. And I have to admit the first time I saw an uncircumsized one I was completely turned off. The thought of that now is not as disturbing....its the way god made us.

Actually....when I was inquiring about having my son circumcised just after he was born...my doctor looked at me in an odd way and asked why...I said "Isn't it cleaner to have a circumsised penis"...again,she looked at me in an odd way and said"most certainly not", I have 3 other g/f's who had children within the last 3 years,all boys.None of them got their son's penises circumsied.It is so uncommon nowadays that it is not even done in the hospital anymore.I was told I would have to go to a jewish hospital or clinic to have it done.

I decided not too.God put his foreskin there for a reason.If he wishes to remove it later I would support his decision.
