What's Your Take On This??
Posted: 01-08-07 00:15am

Okay..So here's the story, I had sex on dec 30th with my man, and he came inside me. I am not on birth control, because its a long distance relationship, so I dont see him often and I dont mess around. When we do get together we do use condoms, but not this time. It just sort of happend, and it was different because he's headed off to war in a month.

Last time I had my perid (the last day) was dec 4th. I was suppose to get my period on the 1st of jan of this yr. On jan 2nd I got my period, usually the first three days are really heavy...The first day it was about twice as light as normally, and then on the second day it got less and less, by the third it was completely gone. Usually my period lasts 5-6 days. I bought a set of 2 pregnancy tests. I know it wont show right away but I took one two days after the fact (hrs before I got my 'period') just because (came out neg.) and im saving the second one for in about two weeks or so....What do you think about this?? Do you think im pregnant or what?? Is it possible to get pregnant and something like that happen seeing as hwo it was only days before my period was due?

Yes, it's possible.

All it takes is one time,
&one tiny little sperm.

this is totally unnecessary. There's no need to get all high and mighty when someone comes here for our help. You're not perfect either you know! None of us are! If you don't have anything nice and constructive to say then just skip to the next topic.

it is possible that you are pregnant but I would say that it is unlikely because you seem to have had a period, albeit a rather light one. Also, you've had a negative test and it would usually show positive by the time your period is due. By all means take another test but I don't think you have anything to worry about.

Perhaps go and see your doctor about going on some more reliable contraception because it's so easy to let circumstances override common sense when it comes to condoms.

All the best.

Scented~
it is always possible but since you took a test just a few hours before your period showed and it was negative then my say is no your not. Your right that tests don't show positive or negative right away but your a little confused about when that is. Its not that they won't show for two weeks after you have sex its that they arn't 99% (or whatever the box says for a percentage) untill the day after your missed period. If you have had a period since you had sex and you haven't had sex again plus the test said no then your chances are slim but there are people out there who have had it happen.

Take the second test in a few weeks and whatever that one says it probably correct. If you skip your next period go see your doctor.

The test is irrelevant, it was much much too early. The earliest you can test is 4 days before your missed period and even that isn't entirely accurate.
