I have heard that if you are preg and you left your hands above your head then the cord wraps around the babies neck.Could this be true?

Good Question
Hi I am 5'11 and because I am so tall my aunt told me when I get further along to make sure I don't pull stuff down or put stuff up high also. Let me know if you ever find out. I go to the Dr. Tomm and I will ask my obgyn what she thinks.

Hey how are you. I have heard that lifting heavy stuff at all while your pregnant can cause some kind of harm to your baby. When I was pregnant with my daughter, the doctor told me all the time not to lift heavy stuff, to have someone else lift it if it had to be moved. I hope this helps.

I Just Found Out That...
Hey girls, I had to go to the dr today and she said it is not true, old wise tell. I was relieved because I am the tell one!!! Plus the fact that I am tall and was so worried that wow, I cant be doing that. She said the reason the baby gets wrapped around is because they play in there. You could crawl up in a fetal position and the baby could still get wrapped around. Do not worry about it though, it causes to much stress and worry, don't want to have a a paranoid baby, lol.
Now, about the lifting heavy stuff. No, you should not lift heavy stuff during pregnancy. You do not want to strain yourself!!!
