What happens to the hymen after the first time a person has sex? I mean does it remain hanging in the body or does it slide out?

I know it's weird to be asking these stuff but I absoloutley have no idea!

The hymen is just a bit of membrane. It isn't anything that is going to be hanging out. Sex tears the membrane and can cause some slight bleeding.

This membrane only partially occludes the entrance to the vagina (in most cases).
Some women (me included) never had one to begin with, while others tear or stretch theirs during sports or horseback riding or gymnastics or even just using tampons.
