I had an mri that shows evidence of a stroke probably caused by high blood pressure. It showed up in the head of the caudate on right side. I was having numbness and weakness in left arm and leg as well as a numb/tingling in my face. I am seeing a cardiologist this week. What can I expect?

Hi,
I have in the last two days had a sharp pain on the left side of the top of my head running down to my ear. The pains come and go. My left eye is also watering. I am scared. This happened to me six months ago and they told me it was a nerve that ran through the top of my head to my ear. I got a cat scan which didn't show anything. What is going on? I hate this. I don't know if I am having an aneurysm or stroke or possibly nothing. I have an apppointment tomorrow to see the doctor but am just wondering if anyone out there has any advice.
Thanks
Katie Sad
