My doctor gave me clomid and on 27 dec,day 11, the ultrasound scan show that I ovulate and there are two eggs. I have sex on day 11 to day 17 each day. This morning, that is day 21, I test with a pregnancy test kit and the result is negative. My last period is on 17 dec 2006. My period cycle is 28 days. Can the pregnancy test kit detect the pregnancy 9 days before the period due. And, if there is ovulation, is there any other reason why pregnancy not occur? Please help me...

Most early pregnancy tests cannot detect until five days before the missed period and even then you can sometimes get a false negative. It is best to wait until the day your period is expected to start to test. You can avoid unnecessary false negatives. Just because you ovulated and has sex does not mean that you will automatically concieve. All couple have a 25% chance conceiving within a given month. Good luck! Be patient, it takes time? How long have you been trying?

I have breast sore and swollen every cycle, about two weeks before my period due. What is happening? I also have yeast infection which is keep coming back. Will that be a problem for me to get pregnant? Is having yeast infection is common among women?

Your bbs being sore 2 weeks before your period is just the change in hormones. Every month from the time I ovulate to when I start my period I usually experience some kind of breast soreness. Just wait another week and take a test. There is no guarantee that you will get pregnant because of clomid. You still have to have the timing just right. Just try to stop stressing and let what shall be happen. Being pregnant will come when it is your time. Good luck and truck loads of baby dust.

Hi! You should wait until at least the day before your period is due for the test to be somewhat accurate. And the clomid might not work the first time, for some people it does but I am on my 3rd month of clomid! A lot of women get pregnant on clomid the 2nd thru the 4th months on it.
Good luck though, you might be one of the lucky first month people!
