Amenorreah(absence of Menstral Cycles)

I suffered from amennoreah and later dismenorreah and would like to post this topic to possibly help anyone that my have this problem as well. It was very difficult to find knowledgeable doctors to ease my worries. In fact often times I was made to feel like an alien or something. I was given strange looks (by doctors when they ask when was your last period and my response was I haven't started yet) they would continue to question me as if they didn't believe me or had not heard of such a thing. Through my own research I found the correct name for the condition, and that gave me confidence that I was not some freak of nature.I also came to grips with the fact that I may not be able to have children.I started having cycles when I was 28 and they were only like once maybe twice a year. Then at 30 they started to come a bit more often (4 to 8 times a year.At 32 they were very regular,i did become pregnant at 34 and am now the proud mother of a two and a half year old girl. There is hope.Don't give up if you are going through this.I would love to talk with anyone who has a similar experience,or would just like to know more.Until then.....Toodles. :d
