nancy, nestle is the worst!! It was the only formula that made trey gassy and spit up. I had 2 docs tell me not to use it.

Switch him to something else!

Emma, spitting up after feeding for my son was this: an intolerance to milk protein (which many babies have, because milk protein is hard to digest) and he also was intolerant to soy protein. So he is on a milk and soy free formula. The doc said babies outgrow this between the age of 1 and 3. On top of that, he has acid reflux. So the acid that came up burned his throat and when he would eat sometimes he would cry and squrim and arch his back because his throat hurt.

I don't know what you can get from wic. I didn't qualify. Apparently I make too much money even tho I don't know where all that extra money i'm making is. Wait, I think the gas company, electric company, phone company, water company, aes, and my landlord have it all. I'll have to ask for it back, I must have given them too much. After all, wic says that I should have $20,000 to spend after paying all my bills. Rolling Eyes

hahahahahaha yeah.......Don't I know it.....I looked into getting my childcare partially paid for however I can only make $14,000.00 a year for me to qualify. I make almost tripple that. Lol.

I tried to get .W.I.C however I dont' qualify either. I have tried to get qualified for a lot of stuff....I haven't been able to get anything. My car/insurance/morgage/phone bill/water/eletric/trash bill/and all of that takes most of my monies.....But I have enough to get thru but the child care is whats killing me. However I pay for slackers to get the help they need....But yet I can't get any help eventhough I pay my taxes every year.

emma you should watch this very closely. In my sons case, his intolerance only irritated the reflux. If it is acid reflux, the acid can damaged the esophogus and lead to complications. My son almost ended up being tube fed because for a while I couldnt find a doctor that would listen to me. Acid reflux going untreated can damage esophogal cells and turn pre cancerous. He is on prevacid which turns off acid pumps in his stomach so if anything comes up, it doesnt burn his esophogus.

there is a certain formula that .W.I.C does pick up, but you need a doctor's note for .W.I.C to approve it. You can't just go to the store and get it - the vouchers are very specific. It's hella expensive - not sure if it's the one .Sandy's talking about or not.

ok, well thats good to know ^_^

i wasnt sure cause they are getting so strict on everything (at least here)

only reason I qualify for wic is because im still a student, I have government insurance, and the military gets crap pay for fighting for our country...Such a wonderful world we live in aint it?

really? Ive never heard of anyone in the military making good money, at least not the american military, well of course other then officers

my brothers an e-5 and is really good with money and he can just barly make it

but then again, my fiancee and I arent married yet so we dont get bah which makes it more difficult

meh, its all situational though too, depends on how much money your family has, property, and all that, also where you are, like if your overseas you get more, if your in combat area you get more, if your away from family you get more etc
