This is deffinantly something you should have someone take a look at it. They say that if a mole changes in size, shape, or color that you should have it looked at. Now this does not mean that it is deffinantly cancer it could be benign which means the cancer is dormaint I believe. They will want to remove it of course so be prepared for that then more and likely will send it off to be tested for cancer. I see in the picture what looks like a possible hair growth comeing from it they say not to remove the hair. Why? I am not 100% sure of the reasons but I do know that if the hair stops growing from it or it falls out there is a sign of possible cancer. So have it checked out as soon as possible so that you could have it taken care of. I hope I have been of some help

really even if the change was over a couple years, if by chance it is cancer wouldn't it spread much quicker??
