Hey all! Dr said landon can start on rice food, im suppose to mix it in with his formula in a bowl and start off once a day then twice, then three times. Im scared tho lol I dont know why. And then he said after I can start oats, but when do I start the oats do u think? Cuz I wana wait a while b4 starting oats because if he has an allergic reaction then i'll know wat hes allergic to rite? And when im mixing the rice with the boiled water as the box says, then do I add formula aswell, or substitute the water for formula? Sorry I feel silly, I asked the doctor a million questions but forgot that one Mad anyways, info/experiences on this all would be awesome! Thanks ladies!

You can wait as long as you want before you start the oats, I waited a month between the rice and the oats and then much later I introduced the mixed cereal........I always mixed them with formula instead of water, sometimes as a treat I would mix the cereal with the banana or apple sauce baby food.

With cereal, mis formula/breastmilk with cereal. Later, you still add formula but you can also put any type of food.

I would be *broke* if it weren't for cereal. Oni would kill about 6 jars per day if I didn't have cereal to make it stretch!! Shocked

in a way i'm glad I started .Oni so early...By 4 months she was a *pro*!!

All the baba's are getting soooo big!!

Omg it's so fun.....We love feeding time. My sister kept amelia yesterday and fed her and I got so mad I was almost crying because it's my time with her. I love feeding her....I know that it's stupid but hell she gets rice once a day and I want to be the one to give it to her. Lol.

She has learned how to spit it all over me....But I dont' care...Its great.

Very, very few babies are actually allergic to rice cereal. If you give him rice and oatmeal at the same time and he seems allergic then you can usually count on it being because of the oatmeal.

*at least that's what my doc told me!*
