Q: Nipple Discharge

How common and should I be worried about having a milky and sometime clear discharge come from my left nipple, nothing with the right. It only occurs when the nipple is squeezed. I am 20 years old and have never been pregnant. There is no discomfort and there is no change in the look or feel of my breast. There is no discharge coming out on its own it only happens when the nipple is squeezed. Should I be worried? What might be a possible cause?

Nipple Discharge
I am 33 and have had that happening to me since I was about 20 yrs old. Mine was/is also clear, sometimes white, and only when squeezed. Not really sure what it is but when I asked the doctor about it he said that it is nothing to be worried about unless it is greenish or brown/bloody. Since I have had it for about 13 years I guess I can't tell you that it will go away. Confused But I can tell you that I don't think it is anything to worry about. If you still feel uncomfortable about it you can check with a doctor to ease your mind. Also, if it changes to a color other than white/clear you should seek medical attention.
