Forgetfulness, Confusion?
Posted: 01-04-07 09:37am

Hi there, first of all apologies for my ignorance, I am young!

It's actually about my mum, she's 52, and over the last several months i've noticed her doing silly things all the time that she would never have done before. I dont have the hear to point it out to her, and i'm not sure if she even notices or not!

Well she keeps forgetting things, getting names mixed up, saying the wrong words etc. Yesterday for example, she picked up my cup of tea that i'd only just made and put it on the draining board because she thought it was empty. And there are many mornings where she leaves the house for work and tries to open the wrong car and doesn't understand why the key won't go in... Really silly things like that.

Well I think she is borderline menopausal, are these sort of things normal to expect?

Thanks in advance for any replies!
