Wellbutrin Sr Question
Posted: 01-02-07 10:51am

I started generic wellbutrin sr 150 mg a day about 6 days ago. Days 1-3 I was super tired but couldn't sleep well. Day 4 I felt awesome. Day 5 I was depressed, and today I am feeling depressed too. I've also had a slight increase in anxiety here and there. I am going up to 300 mg in 4 days and I was wondering what, if anything, I can expect to happen? Is there a drastic difference in side effects or anything when you up the dosage? I'm starting a new internship the day after my first day of 300 mg and i'm really scared that something bad will happen. Anyone have any advice? Sad

Ureaplasma urealyticum is a bacterium that causes urinary and genital infections in both women and men; it can be considered a sexually transmitted disease. A Ureaplasma urealyticum infection does not always cause disease. It can stay hidden without any symptoms of inflammation. When the circumstances warrant, it can cause inflammation. Inflammation due to a ureaplasma urealyticum infectioncan be unnoticeable but it has severe consequences, especially in women (sterility)! It is possible that you experience a Ureaplasma urealyticum-nfection even before you met your present boyfriend. If your boyfriend also tests positive for Ureaplasma urealyticum infection, the same statement stands for him, too. You can treat the infection with antibiotics that won’t harm the fetus and consult with your gynecologist about treatment options.

Yeah, doctor's answer was kind of strange, probably posted in the wrong thread.

Insomnia and restlessness often occur during the first days of treatment with wellbutrin sr, and usually subside with the continuation of treatment. If distress and untoward effects disturb, dose escalation is usually stopped.
So, if you have any side effects you should talk to your doctor and discuss your dose. Also, it may take about 4 weeks or more to notice wellbutrin sr antidepressant effect.
