(1.) what if I smell down there when the doctor is giving me a pap smear???

Sorry if this is gross I just alway's worry about it.

(2.) what if I can't get through the pap smear because it hurts me soo much???

(3.) what should I do about these 2 things???

Just bathe before you go, and you won't smell. Also, keep in mind that the gyno is pretty used to that kind of thing. Just relax and your pap won't be bad. It's no big thing. I think getting nervous about it is the worst part.

I also noticed some of your other questions, so I thought i'd answer them here.. I don't see why you couldn't have a bubble bath the night before a gyno appt. And no, the doctor wouldn't think that anything was wrong with you because of it. You shouldn't douche though, because that messes with the natural balance inside you. Easier to get infections that way.

Also, you asked why people need a pap before getting on birth control. They want to take your blood pressure and everything to determine which pill you should be on (or whichever birth control you want to try), and you get a pap just so that they can make sure everything is fine.
