If the pain is coming from the abdominal wall, you could be experiencing muscle pain. The abdominal muscles contract a little during a bowel movement (defecation) and urination. This type of contraction can cause pain if the muscle is hurt, overworked or inflamed.
If the pain is coming from inside the torso, you could be experiencing colic pain. Colic pain originates from the narrow internal organs of the intestines, urinary tract and billiary tract. Colic pain is due to spasms of the smooth muscles in the walls of these organs. Colic pain is sharp and severe. You can visit your primary health doctor for an examination and to follow up on these symptoms.
