Starting Next Month's Pills Early? Posted: 12-28-06 23:46pm
I am in my first inactive week of birth
control, as this was my first month on the
pill. I started my last period and my
first pill on a monday, and this inactive
week/period week will end this sunday, so
I will need to start my new pack on
monday. However, I would like to back up
my cycle and start my pills one day early
(sunday) so that my period will come one
day earlier (on average) and not occur as
likely on the weekend. Is it okay to
miss the last inactive pill day and start
the hormonal pills one day early?

Bump- anyone? I am assuming it won't
decrease the effectiveness any? Just
maybe throw off the cycle (it's only been
one month so it's not like the cycle is
regular yet anyway).

Hi, from admin. We're currently getting
a system in place on ehealth to make sure
that you get a response from active
members...Sorry for now if you're not
getting any feedback. You can try one of
two things:
1. Ask our online medical doctor and
receive a free personalized response.
2. Try asking your question in other
women's health forums like pregnancy, or
sexual health. They seem to be the most
active right now.
We'll be re-organizing our forums and
asking our members to start actively
helping others. If you're interested,
give us a holler via private message.

Not all of our members are from america so
sometimes you just need to hang in there
for people to get online
yes, it's fine to start your new pack a
day early. :d
