Hey girl - first, go and buy a "basal" thermometer. You can get them at your drug store for about $18.00
you take your temp each morning at the same time and start to chart them on paper, or you can sign up at www.Fertilityfriend.Com, and log your info on there. It will tell you what you need to know and give you tips along the way! Your temp's will "dip" right before or on your ovulation day. From there you will see a rise in your temp's as you get closer to your af date. Progesterone raises your body temp, and if it stays elevated past your expected af date, it can be a good sign that you are pregnant. This is what happened to me!
Metformin and clomid will help with your pcos, and to regualte and get your body to ovulate. You need to talk to your doctor about this, b/c not everyone can take these med's. Ovulex may or may not help you, but ask your doctor about them as well. If he/she put you on any prescription drugs, then you will not want to take ovulex.
I wouldn't test until you have missed your af......Just saves $$ on buying a ton of hpt's!!!!!
Good luck! Wink

I have currently been trying to get pregnant for about 6 months. 2 months ago I started using the ovulation tests (ones like the pregnancy test where you pee on a stick). It's really helped in detecting when ovulation occurs, but yet I still am not pregnant. I usually start on the 8th of the month and I started spotting today. Early spotting is usual for me (start spotting for a day or 2 on the 1st and then get my period on the 8th). It came a couple of days early so of course I am reading everything possible about implantation. Am I being a freak about this stuff or do I just need to relax??

Hi jenny! Hard to say if it is implantation bleeding or not. As you said that you usually spot before your af comes, I would take a closer look at it. Implantation bleeding usually only occurs for one day and can be brownish to a light pink in colour. Do you know when you ovulated? This may help determine if it is even a possibility of implantation bleeding.
If you can hold out for a bit, I would wait until the 8th to see if af arrives. If not, then I would take a hpt test the day after you miss it.
Good luck! Wink
