Hey im a 21 yr old male I have horrible abdominal pain in right upper to mid quad. I also have alot of pain after eating/weight loss due to not eating/nausea/tired and weak. This has been going on for about 3 months now. I lost 25lbs im down to about 105 lbs. I have had tests for gallbladder and they came up negative. I have also had endoscopy/cat scan with iodine injection/full plate of xrays/ultra sounds/and blood tests-everything negative. Has any one else had any of the same encounters with this? If so what were you finally diagnosed with?? Thanks for any help!!!

Pain After Eating
Hi there, first I would like to tell you I spent the better part of the last 15 months of last year in pain!! Just so you know, all those test on you gallbladder will only show stones 3 cinementersor larger. I had all the test too. And they all showed nothing!!! But still I had pain mostly after I ate I would describe it as "eating very little" but feeling like a had a seven course meal. Not fun at all. And the doctor that I had was trying to tell me it was all in my head ,and showed me the door. So I encourage you to keep going to doctors untill one will listen to you.I went to 5.
To make a long story short I went to my husbands surgen and he did one test on me to see how well my stomach was working, and it had stoped completly, now it made sence to me why all the vomiting. It,s called
gastric perecis (parylized stomach) I now take medicen before I eat to make it work im not tottally pain free but better, and as for my gallblader (stabing pain) right upper
quad after I got stablized on the new meds my new doctor took it out where he found seven two millmeter stones and a diseased gallblader so dont take a doctors word for because sometimes the paitent is right. Keep pushing the point you are in pain!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Pinge rs

Stomache Pain
Hi, I too have had recurring stomache pain for over eighteen months now, been taken off to hospital on numerous occasions, I had an episode in january of this year while on holiday in malaysia, and was in hospital for 4 days, I have been diagnosed with, ileus which just means, imflamation of the bowel , since then my stomache looks like I am 9 months pregnant , on my return to this country I have had various tests, (endoscopy, colonoscopy, barium enema, ex-rays and numerous other tests). Which have all come back clear.
I am still awaiting the results of my barium enema, which was only done yesterday. I know that this is not all in my head. At the moment, I feel that nobody is really listening and trying to get to the route of the problem, it has taken 18 months for these tests, I suppose that is one of the pleasures of living in the u.K and having this health service.
Please keep me informed of the results of your tests, and if the doctors come up with an answer, I will let you know mine.

Painful Stomache
Hi, just thought I would continue my stomache saga, I had a barium enema about five weeks ago and have finally got the results, I have got a narrowing of the colon, which the doctors think could be causing the pains and they want to do more tests.
Does any one know what this could mean? It has me completely baffled?.
I still get the pains, quite severely sometimes.
Any answers would be very appreciated.

Please Help
Hi i'm a 17 yr old female and I have been having extreme stomach pains for the past two months, I have iron-deficiency anemia, I was originally told I had acid reflux, but after taking the medication and no results they continued to do testing I have had a upper g.I, c.T, small bowl, and a colonoscopy, as well as a series of blood test. My stomach pains come out of the blue and cause me to doble over in pain, I have missed 3 weeks of school, I have changed my diet to eating only bland food but the pains still persist, the pain is in my middle to upper left quadrient of my stomach and does not move anywhere, the pain is sharp stabbing pain, but also feels as if tightening up! If anyone has any information that could help me or anything for me to suggest to my doctor I would greatly appriciate it, I would sure like to be able to finish my senior year pain free!!

Abdominal Pain 15 Year Old
My daughter has been having recurring abdominal sharp stabbing pains that come out of nowhere. They last a couple of hours and then are gone. She feels sore and wiped out when it's over. She usually just goes and collapses and sleeps through them. We've been doctoring for awhile now. She's had pelvic and abdominal ultrasounds, blood and urine tests and nothing has been found. They've recently decided to do a ct scan and then on to scopes if that shows nothing. The cost is getting enormous and we're finding nothing. She has normal bowel movements, eats fine and healthy most of the time.

The worst part though.... Is for her and this pain..... She misses school and she hates that(she loves school and her friends). She's a very happy and social girl, doesn't drink or do drugs, goes to church and is very loving. She's a dancer and in great shape.

I don't know what to do to help her. Has anyone here ever heard of this type of pain or have any ideas I could throw past the docs. Something to look for.

I'm scared...

Thanks for any help anyone can give...

My daughter was 16, and hospitalized twice within 2 months, the doctors even removed her appendix, thinking it ruptured, it turned out, she had a lot of little cysts on her ovaries, and they were rupturing setting up infection in her body, she had to be put on introvenous antibiotics, before it could be put under control. Don't take just one doctor's word for it, you know your body best, and you know when something is wrong, keep going to different doctors for other opinions until you find one that is willing to help you, even if you have to be hospitalized for them to do it, and if they take your appendix, don't worry about it, it just means you will never feel the severe pain of appendacitis. My daughter is happy and healthy and going on 18 on the 18th of april 2006. Don't let doctors intimidate you. Good luck!!

Abdominal Pain
Had lots of blood tests, bowel tests....On and on with tests for abdominal pain. Told it was stress when the doctor ran out of ideas. I stopped eating any food with gluten in it even though the doctor said that it was not the problem according to the test results. Best thing I ever did....No gluten equalled no more abdominal pain. Hope this helps someone.

Nj Abdominal Pain Help
Did they suggest Crohns to you. It won't show up on alot of the tests they give you.
Stay away from any dairy products and gluten. Try some probotics {Cal'dophilus} before you eat. Ask if anyone in your family has had crohns, or I.B.S. You have the same symptoms of my son and Sick Kids in toronto diagnosed it as severe I.B.S. .....chrohns
