Hello this is my first time on here and I have a something have been thinking about for the last few months but not to much ...

Iam 23 now and in college about to be done!! Yeah! And when I was 18 going on 19 the summer I became pregant, my mother really never gave me the option to keep the baby yes I do know now that I could of had the baby but at that time I didn't know what to do. Trust me I wish I had the baby everyday of my life now. I do have to say that in the last few year I have drank alot and smoked alot in the last few months I haven't smoked and I have drank a few times but not like I did 1 year ago, so my question is that due to me having an abortion and smoking and drinking alot in the past does this lower my chances of getting pregant?? I tryed with my last boyfriend many many times and he already has two beatiful children, but I would juts like to know what other have to say, thanks alot a have a good year !

If there were no complications following your abortion then this does not affect your fertility. You actually know you can get pregnant so try not to worry!
As for the drinking and smoking you're still young so it shouldn't be a problem. If you're worried go to your doc for a check up. Best of luck

you don't have to feel guilty for aborting, always remember that.

It is possible that stress associated with your senior year, the guilt you seem to be feeling due to the abortion, and other outside factors could be affecting your fertility. It is also possible that you're just not a very fertile woman, and you'll have to monitor your cycle closely in order to time things right - in which case the fact that you became pregnant before was an (un)lucky coincidence!

Don't worry Smile abortion has a very low rate of reducing or removing fertility. In fact, from what I have heard, giving birth actually has a higher risk of causing infertility than abortion! If you have continuing problems, you can always go see a doctor or fertility specialist.

I'm sure you'll do fine! Good luck to you!
