I am a sponsor to a person who has recentlyly been hospitalized with ketoacidtosis and he had severe deyhration. Since then he has struggle to maintain his blood sugar level. He has been able to keep it at about 250-300, but rarley under that. He is always thirsty and urinate frequently. He does not follow the diet he should. He also has another doc appointment this week. He is also having problems with his kindeys and some renal dysfunfion. Here is the problem he takes urine analysis for the probation department. In his last 8 ua's his creatine level has jumped from 200. down to 15. At different times. The probation office is going to violate because they think he is dilutting his urine. I have been around this individual everyday and know other wise. He has worked very hard to be the person he is. This latests develpment has really confussed him and has him down. Can any of the issues listed above be a factor. Please explain. I just know this is the cause, but am not able to desipher it. Please someone help explain this. This is a sad ordeal. Thank you. Teresa

why dont you get a doctors note to give to his probation officer?

Because all the symptoms you just named are symptoms of diabetes.

And unless he start to control his diabetes his symptoms will keep occuring.
