O.K. So i'm not alone...Soap and water seems to be the norm.
Lol .Sarah...That's what I was thinking....How in heaven's name can using only water be sanitary.
Nataliachick.....I know about the douche, actually I learned the hard way, in college I was an avid doucher (long story...My mother never discussed the workings of the female body with me and I actually thought that anytype of discharge was not good, so I used to douche to get rid of the discharge, and back then there was no sex ed in school so I didn't really know) and never had any problems with it. But about 6 years ago when I changed ob/gyn, when she did a pap smear she said "i can see that you either douche alot now, or at one time in your life you did" and I was like, "yes, when I was in college, how can you tell that" and she said that douching leaves "some kind of yellow bumps" (can't remember her exact words) in your vaginal cavity

so I asked her how in hell do you get rid of them and she said that they were permanent

after hearing that, I never douched ever again.
