I am a 60 year old male. On nov.20, 2006 I took myself to the hospital emergency with very bad stomach pains and diarrhea, my blood pressure was extreamly low and I had what they refer to as "cotton mouth" they immediately admitted me. I spent 11 days and now home for several weeks where I can't leave the house for more then a few mins. Because I have diarrhea. They gave me all sorts of tests, (colonoscopy, cat scan, ultra sound) they said I had a bacterial infection and also have ulcerative colitis. I have seen a gastro. Doctor as well as an internist. Does anyone have anything positive that they can suggest to me example a dite? Thanks for letting me sound off. Dave
