I am a 20 year old male and I keep getting these weird full body twitches. They never seem to happen when i'm doing anything important like driving or anything but they happen all the time when i'm laying down. Either when i'm about to go to sleep or when im relaxing on the couch watching tv. I don't think it's anything too serious. I half think it's all in my head because I only seem to get it shortly after I think about getting it. Although sometimes it does suddenly spring on me.

Anyway I got my girlfriend all worried because I started twitching pretty violently while I was spooning her. (she thought I was trying to hump her at first lol) she wants me to seek medical help but it has yet to affect my daily life. She says I even twitch in my sleep a lot but i've never woken myself up because of it so I don't lose sleep because of it.

It's not a seizure or anything because i'm fully concious. I just go twitches that can be pretty violent and force me to make loud grunting noises. I think it is realated to stress because it being finals week and because i've missed several deadlines for work and because of that I haven't seen enough money come in for christmas gifts. So I am pretty stressed right now. I'm one of those stubborn guys who doesn't like to go to the doctor unless I literally can't live my life correctly. But my girlfriend is really worried and she keeps trying to get me to see a doctor. So can someone tell me that it's not something I should be overly worried about and it will probably pass when my stress dies down a bit so I can tell her to stop worrying about me? Kthx
