I've had crohn's since 1999. It got taken care of through 6mp (purinethol). Since on meds, i've only had mild symptoms in the form of bowel movements.
I never experienced pain from exercising...
Recently, I didn't take my meds for a few days, and over the week I had growing stomach pains, in the lower right quadrant. The last two days it has been consistent pain, and it worsens through exercise. However, i'm not having frequent bowel movements, or fever, or extra gas. But I do feel bloated.
Is it possible this is a resurgence of crohn's, even though i'm not seeing an increase in bowel movements?
I'm seeing a doctor in a week, but am curious and anxious.

Thanks, josh

Swelling of the Bowel
In september I began to have pain in the lower, right hand side of the abdominal area, in december (yes 3 months of the pain of which made me be physically sick) I had a barium meal which concluded the suspicions of the swelling or closure of my bowel, around the illeum area. I have had a colonscopy/endoscopy to identify the problem thoroughly - turns out I need an operation to remove most of the colon... Hopefully I wont need a poo bag... They said I shouldnt have to but incase...
Maybe it's something to think about going the doctors, it could just be inflammation in the bowel, which can easily be treated by steriods, or maybe an operation is in fact needed... Better than pain I guess...
