Heaving/gagging When I Chew Fat In Meat
Posted: 12-12-06 21:56pm

Hi all,

for around 6 to 10 months now everytime that I bite down a piece of fat that is in meat I instantly start heaving like i'm going to vomit and my stomach feels terrible. Whenever this happens I normally just run to the bathroom and spit it out, though my stomach feels bad for another 1 to 2hrs afterwards and I completely lose my appetite to eat. This didn't use to bother me as much up until today when someone complained that i'm too picky about my meat! Normally I just look carefully at any meat and cut out the fat portions so that I don't cause a scene and don't feel bad after. But I want to be able to just spit it into a tissue or swallow it or something so that it's not such a big thing anymore, it's quite annoying.

Is this a problem or is this just my body being stupid and I just have to train myself to stop heaving somehow?

Thanks for your input,

mary.

I don't really want to go veggie. I also heave when I eat a banana (i've done this since I was little but I still eat them, lol) , I have when I see grosse things too, and sometimes when there's nothing that could make me heave. I have no idea what this is, but it's very uncomfortable.
