So nauseous it is crazy - cold chills and hot flashes....

I'm just rounding out my 7th week and feel terrible!!!! I have tried everything I can think of (b6, emetrol, giner-everything, crackers, and major prayer) and still feel sooooo terrible. At this point, I can't imagine every wanting to get pregnant again b/c this is soooo miserable!

Does anyone have any tips or tricks that might help?

Just get enough sleep and if you can't eat a full meal then try to do mini meals throughout the day, I couldn't stand eating a whole hot meal so my midwife said perhaps at 5pm have three potatos and 1/2 a piece of quorn (i'm veggie) and then try the rest at about 6pm I began breaking up all of my meals I can now eat normally yay I stopped feelig like that at around 9-10 weeks and i'm 12 now and it hasn't come back

You are feeling so terrible because of hormonal changes that occur in your body during pregnancy. Nausea and vomiting may be caused by the high levels of estrogen and hcg. The best thing you can do is to get plenty of rest. For me it was easier to eat after 3 pm. These symptoms usually go away after 12-14 weeks, after placentation. There are no drugs specifically designed to relieve nausea and vomiting during pregnancy.

Eat before you get out of bed in the morning. Crackers and water-whatever you think that you can tolerate. Then try to just take it easy as much possible. You are making a new little person! Congratulations!
