What, besides excessive liquor
consumption, causes sclerosis of the
liver?

I am fairly new to the forums and so I am
hoping to post this correctly. I have
recently also found that I could not find
any information on sclerosis of the liver.
Apparently, I finally realized that what
I was truly looking for was cirrhosis of
the liver. And, also to answer your
question as to what other causes this
condition other than liquor consumption.
It is from chronic viral hepatitis (types
b, c, and d and autoimmune hepatitis).
Other causes of cirrhosis include blocked
bile ducts, fats in the liver
(steatohepatitis), and many inherited
diseases. Prolonged exposure to
environmental toxins can also lead to
cirrhosis. Hopefully, this will answer
the question. As far as other research,
please search your engines under the
correct spelling and you will find quite a
bit of items for your listing. Good luck
