I hate this pill.....I've been on it for 6 months now and it's driving me insane. Let me back up. I've been on the pill for almost 3 years now. I started on ortho lo and last september it just stopped working, so I switched that didn't work and switched again to the yaz pill. Since i've been on it I put back on the 20 some pounds that I lost and have some bleeding every day!!! My husband and I have only been able to have sex twice in the past 6 months. It was very attractive when I went on it. My Dr. Told me that I would have less periods and that because she was almost sure that I have pcos (poly-cystic ovarian syndrom) that it would benefit me that way also. I just wanted to vent a little bit and see if anyone else is having the same problems as I am.

what do you mean by this?
Do you mean that you got pregnant on it?
If so that doesn't mean it stopped working, the pill is only 99% effective when used 100% correctly (1 in every 100 couples using the pill will get pregnant).

Go back to your doctor and explain the break through bleeding. Yaz is a newer pill on the market and it is true that for many women it is much better but that doesn't guarantee it will be the "right " pill for everyone.

If you were good with ortho lo have you thought about ortho tri cyclen (the hormones vary to mimic a natural cycle)?
