Lung functionality can be examined using the following diagnostics:
1. A physical examination (auscultation). This is the first step that can be performed by your primary health doctor;
2. Functional tests: peak-flow-metry and vital capacity;
3. Blood analyses, gas analyses and hemoglobin saturation with oxygen, and
4. X-ray of the lungs.
According to your symptoms (hard breathing upon movement) you should also check your heart (ECG) and blood pressure with your primary health provider.
