Hi Sadcat,i Am Soooooooooo Sorry.
Crying or Very sad beleive me I know how you feel. What else have you tried?I have tried alot.I had a tubal reversal in 2001 and was told I was ovulating but im 39 so my gyn put me on clomid at frst it was 50 mg then 100 mg I was on it over 8 mths with no success and had a iui cause my husband was tested and had a low count, then I developed a cyst and she wouldnt put me back on it for a while. We tried on our own no success again,so I made hubby a appointment with a urologist the blood work was good but his prolactin was high so they done a mri it was normal and they found a grwth on his urethatube it was removed but was told that could have caused me not getting preg and he is fine now. That was in nov and im still not pregnant. So I may have to go back to my dr and get back on clomid which I really dont want todo cause it over stimulates my ovaries. So all I can say is hang in there and dont give up.I know it is so very hard but we have to keep trying for that baby.Take care and good luck ,mare

Thanks, Ladybug2004
I have to thank u for understanding and soothing my feelings. I think the biggest part which bother me most is that I cant get much help from anyone. My doc suggests that I might consider using other method (eg. Test tube) if I still cant get pregnant after 6 iuis. She said i'm still considered young (31) and can wait. But all these procedures, hoping, and disappointment are making me very sad. I try not to be under pressure and relax. But I just cant stop thinking and it seems like my only mission is to get pregnant. I know it's very mean. But I start hating friends & relatives who have babies and think I should have one as well. I took clomid for 2 of my iuis (50mg). And this time, i'll need to take 100mg. I also had to take injections (4 - 5 times) after each of my iui. My husband suggests I should do more exercises to have better health. This upset me cos I know he might think my "bad health" is the cause of not getting pregnant. I start blaming myself for not getting pregnant.

I know what that frustration feels like. My husband and I tried for a long time to conceive our second child. I was on clomid for 6 months which did nothing and so my fertility specialist put me on injections of repronex for one year. I remember my fertility specialist asking me over and over to let him do a laparoscopy and hysteroscopy to search for endometriosis (which can definitely cause infertility) and I was adamant that I did not have any endometriosis because I had zero signs or symptoms of that. After my 7th artificial insemination and one whole year of fertility shots, I said okay to the laparoscopy and hysteroscopy because he would only do one more artificial insemination and then I was done because I had been on those hormones for far too long. After the surgery, he told me that I had a ton of endometriosis (it was even growing all over my bladder). He showed me the pictures that he took while inside and said he removed all of it. We skipped one month to let my body heal from that and the very next month I finally got pregnant. It was a very emotional journey for my husband and i. That one month after my surgery we did a lot of soul searching. We are very spiritual people and had decided to lay it completely at god's feet. We prayed and cried alot and finally said, "god, if this is not what you want for us, then just help us get through it and give us a peace that passes all understanding." we finally got our second little blessing. When I look into her eyes, I would do it all over again in a heartbeat. Hang in there and I will be praying for you as I do all people who are struggling with infertility. Soccermom

Thanks For Sharing Your Story With Me, Soccermom
Congrats to your pregnancy! It helps me to have better thoughts after I heard the stories from u supporting ladies. Feels like i'm not the only person on earth who suffer and when comparing to other couples, my experiences are nothing. I'm trying not to thinking too much about this baby issue. I still have hard feelings on being classified myself as infertility woman though. Which my doc never suggests I am. But the fact that i'm cant get pregnant is solid.

Soccer Mom..just Like Me
I went through similar experience.
I conceived my first with in the first month of trying. Took more a year to have another. But miscarried. After another year of nothing I had a lap. Found out I had endom. Now just waiting for a miracle . It has only been 3 weeks since my surgery. So I hope it was worth it.

Do you know any one who has had it but took them a long time to get preggo?

Anything will help me!
