Q: Burst Keloid and bleeding

Is it true that if you burst a keloid you will bleed to death? If not what will happen?

Acne and Skin Disorders Answer A1960
A keloid is a hypertrophic scar that acts like a skin tumor. If you injure a keloid you will bleed, but it doesn’t seem likely that you will bleed to death. You can consult a plastic surgeon about removing the keloid permanently.
