Hi! Yes, it seems a bit early for implantation bleeding, but it possibly may be if you ovulated right when you bd'd!!! Do you know when you ovulated, or how long your cycles usually are?
Are your cycles regular? If not, it could be an early period, but even that would be very early, if af is not due until x-mas eve.
If the bleeding goes away, as implantation bleeding usually only lasts a day, maybe 2 tops, then I would wait a few days and then take a home preg test and see what the results are!!!!
Good luck!

My cycles are usually thirty days and im never sure when I ovulate. I still cant figure it out. The dark colored discharge lasted about a day and a half. Now I have normal discharge but a lot of it.

Hi! "normal discharge" as in you have your period, or it's clear cervical mucus?
If your periods are normally 30 days, then you would typically ovulate around cd16 or so. Ovulation typically occurs 2 weeks before your period is due!!! It can come with cramping, sore bb's and often an "egg-white" mucus discharge.
I would suggest taking and recording your basal temp every morning (taken at the same time each morning, when you first wake up!), this will help you to learn when you are ovulating!!!!
If it's not an early period, then I would wait a few days and try taking a home preg. Test. Buy one that has a high sensitivity to the hcg hormone and take it first thing in the morning, when your urine has a higher concentration of the hcg. (first response, clear blue easy...Good ones to buy!)
if you get a bfn (negative), then I would wait until after you have missed your af (maybe the 27th or so) and try taking another test!!!!
Hope this all helps?! If you have any more questions or concerns, I will do my best to help you Smile
good luck!

You Are a Blessing
Thank you so much for your help. I've been full of questions.

My cervical mucus is back to normal now. I never had a period. I have no explanation for the spotting that occurred. Like you said, I shouldn't ovulate for a while. So, i'm still wondering what it could be. I didnt have sore bbs or what I usually get when af is about to come.

Also yesterday and the day before, I had a horrible headache. To the point of feeling like nauseated. I don't know if that has anything to do with it.

Let me know if you have any more thoughts.
Your help is a blessing to me
thank you :d

Hey girl! You're very welcome and i'm glad that I can be of help to you! Now, if your af is due on x-mas eve (same as mine, or I may be on x-mas day?!!) then you may have already ovulated (early) or are just about to. (o usually occurs 2 weeks before af is due remember!) the headaches, the brown discharge.....It's almost sounding as if you really could be pregnant?!!!! Perhaps you ovulated very early this cycle, it would be a bit strange, but it's happened to many ladies before!!! Many of my friends complained of headsched and slight dizziness when they were pregnant.
I would wait (if you can hold out that long!!) until the 27th or so and then take a hpt and see if it's positive!!! I'll be doing mine around the 29th if no af comes that is!
If you are trying for a baby, go and buy yourself a basal thermometer (you can get one for about $7 at your local drugstore) and start recording your temps each morning. This way, you can learn when you usually ovulate in your cycle, etc..... It comes in handy!
Let me know how you do and keep me posted through christmas!!!
Good luck and I want to hear some exciting news from you on the days following x-mas Smile Smile Smile

I just wish that I had 30 day cycles.....*sigh*. Oh well, maybe this will be our lucky month and we'll get bfp's for christmas, or shortly after!
Do you know when you'll be testing? I'll do mine on the 29th if no af arrives!
Cheers to no af for us!!!!!! Laughing
how are you doing now? No more cm, no cramps or sore bb's?
I had a few cramps the past 2 days, and sore bb's today....Hmmmm, not sure what that could be though. I'm hoping that af is not on her way Crying or Very sad

Wow...It really seems as if you may be having implantation bleeding! I don't want to get your hopes up, but you've got the spotting, got the slight cramping and sore bb's...All which sound like pregnancy symptoms. Of course it would be very ealry, but you never know! Every woman's body is so different!!!!!! I am excited for the 28th to come for you so you can test and see what the results are!
Funny though that you mentioned your symptoms! Yesterday and today I had slight cramps, and very sore bb's.....Well, not so much the bb's, but the nip's (sorry tmi!)!!!!!!!!!! B.U.T I am worried that it may be an indication that af is on her way. This happened to me last cycle and about 2 weeks later, wham, they she was Crying or Very sad
i am really praying that this is not the case this time. We've tried so hard this go around, and I hate the idea of doing it all over again Evil or Very Mad
have you started to chart your temps yet?
Will this be your first as well?!

I dont want to get my hopes up, but I never get symptoms this early. I'm scared af will show her face yet again.

But about your sore bbs. It was the same thing with me. It wasnt exactly the bb but more the nip!!! Lol

yes this will be my frist. I'm excited to hear if your symptoms increase. I hope they do. Mine didnt really today. I just had sore nips again (tmi) and maybe only one or two cramps.

Well good luck and keep me up to date

Wow...Maybe our bodies are one and the same!!!!!
My symptoms weren't as bad today either. A slight cramp here and there, but almost nil. The nip's (lol!) were a tad tender, but nothing like yesterday!! This morning though, my temp raised considerable from 36.35 (monday morning), to 36.74 this morning, soooooo, I think I ovulated yesterday or even sunday??!!!!! The hubby and I bd'd sunday, monday and today just to get our last chance in, so to speak!!!! Laughing
well, I think all we can do now is sit back and wait! I hear you about not getting your hopes up though....I've gone through that 6 times in a row now, only to be very disappointed when af arrived. Not going to thing about it too much now. 2 weeks will be here quick enough and then we can test - if we make it till then I guess without dear af coming around Evil or Very Mad !!!!!!!
Keep me up to date with you and your symptoms. I am curious to see if we go through similar things.
How old are you? Have you been ttc for a while now?

Hey!
I'm 23. We have been ttc for four months now. Hopefully it happens this time. Wink
although, nothing new today. Same slightly sore bbs.
Although the past three days my temp has jumped from usually being around 97.30 f to 97.5 and even up to 97.9.

Hopefully that means something good? Rolling Eyes

how about you. Anything new today?

Mmm, not too much. Temp went down, but only very slightly, so that's still good (i hope!?)
bb's are still sore today...Weird, b/c they usually don't hurt this much or for this long, but I could be reading into things a bit too much, and I really don't want to get my hopes up this time around!
I hope we can share some good news with eachother soon!!!!!
Keep sending me those updates girl! I'll be wishing for us!

Actually, jae, I think your temps been all the way up to like 98.1 according to your chart so you are a little higher than me. It would be wonderful for all of us to have good news.

Wow! 98.1 huh? Oh, and this morning, my temp was at 36.89, so maybe like 98....Oh, I don't know what it is!!???
Anyone got symptoms still - even slight?
My bb's (the nip's, yes!!) are still tender, and they hurt and then stop and then hurt again......I don't like it! Occasional twinge here and there for cramps.
You girls?

So, I do not chart my temps. I will start if we do not conceive this month. This is our 2nd month of "really" trying. Anyways, the crazy thing about this month is the lack of any symptoms. I usually have sore bb's and cramping by now. So it might be...Along with my squishy cervix (see other forum thread) things seem to be different this month. I really hope we all have lovely pink lines or pluses in a couple weeks.
