It could just be a reaction on your skin from what ever products she uses on her nails, who knows.
As such, it is relatively hard to actually scarr from a scratch via nails. You'd have to have formed scabs, pealed them, formed new ones, and pealed those, continueing this process repeatedly until the body just decides to use scarr tissue and leave an odd divet.
I have scars covering my body from head to toe and more or less know how to avoid them at this point using just neosporin or smoething along those lines.
