A few days after starting Ortho TriCyclen I started this brown discharge and I get it once a day everyday. What is it? It's very uncomfortable and Im very self conscience about it. I feel like Im on my period everyday because I can't go without wearing a pad. HELP!!!!

It seems that the brown discharge you describe could be spotting.
Usually spotting is a common side effect when a woman begins to take birth control pills. It is due to the body’s adaptation to the new hormonal condition. It usually stops after a while. You should, however, proceed to your gynecologist's office for a check up to exclude a vaginal infection and other possible reasons for the spotting (tumors).
